Barthell Project
This is a 1960 Colonial remodel. They pretty much tore into every room. The client wanted to keep her worn wood pieces that had great color and character, but combine them with a cleaner, more modern look. We accomplished this by choosing a typical cabinet style, but then painting them a not so typical combination of grays. We added many chrome, and stainless accents to bring in an industrial feel! The countertops are granite, but remind us of Carrara marble. A much more durable choice for a busy family, and that fabulous mosaic backsplash ties all our colors together.
